The media has not treated me fairly, says Empress Gifty
Empress Gifty, a gospel singer, has complained bitterly about the Ghanaian media, saying she has been unfairly misrepresented for a very long time.

The award-winning singer expressed concerns about inaccurate representations of her personal life and work in the media during a recent appearance on Hitz FM while discussing her experience.
She noted occasions where her statements were misinterpreted and sensational headlines were used, confusing her supporters and the general public.
"I understand their controversies and how they operate. They may just change everything you stated, but as for me, I don't care since I know I am acting morally, and that's all that matters. I make sure to tell my followers the complete truth about a problem on my page. I go along with whatever the media is doing, she remarked.
The artist continued by highlighting the value of ethical journalism and the requirement for truthful depiction in the media.
She urged the media to promote musicians who make great contributions to society in order to continue spreading optimism and encouragement via their work.
