Bole Police Patrol team has arrested two armed men at Maluwe, a community in the Bole District of the Savannah Region.

The suspects include Dauda Appiah 43  and Yusiif Abdullah 25.

Inspector Owusu Adjekum, Public Relations Officer-Savannah Region in a statement copied to the media a short while ago said, the two has been on the police wanted list after robbing a resident of his gold and a machine.

According to him, they carried the operation together with other two persons at Talekura who are currently at large.

 "The suspects were in mask and armed with gun and cutlass when they robbed the victim of his Gold detecting machine, On 30/08/21 at about 1:00 pm they were spotted with the machine at Maluwe hence their arrest". He said.

"A search conducted in the suspect's room revealed an empty shell of G3 ammunition,  a barrel of single barrel gun and cutlass were retrieved from the suspects". 

According to him, the items retrieved from the suspects have been a preserve for evidential purposes.

He added that the two suspects Appiah Dauda and Yusuf Abdullah are in Police custody for further investigation and prosecution.
