We Prefer Using Our Wards For Farming Than To Allow Them to Study Under Death Trap Structure-Residents of Obuasekrom.

The residents of Obuasekrom in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti of Ghana are pleading with the government, individuals, and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) to come to their aid before their deprived school building collapses.

Obuasekrom District Assembly Basic school is on the edge of collapsing over a death trap structure but according to the Assembly Member of the electoral Honourable Akwasi Ayeebo speaking in an interview indicated that he has reported the state of the school to the District Chief Executive Honourable Kofi Marfo and Member of Parliament Honourable Kwame Asiamah of Atwima Mponua constituency but to no avail.

According to the information gathered some prominent propel have passed through the school but none of them is willing to support the school including the former Minister of Environment Science Technology and Innovation, Professor Kwabena Frimpong Boateng was enrolled in the school and many prominent people who are natives of Obuasekrom the but have not to lend a helping hand to the school.

Some of the residents complain that if nothing is done about the structure of the school, they prefer going to farm with their wards than allowing them to study under the death trap and old classroom.
