What the Player's Needs Now is Support - Head Coach of Real Tamale United

The qualification of the Real Tamale United(RTU) into the Ghana premier league brought joy to football lovers in the Northern Region.

The club referred to as the 'Pride of the North' managed to return to the league after ten(10) years of relegation.

Real Tamale United beat Unity Football on the final day of the division one league to become winners.

The Real Tamale United qualification was confirmed due to Bofoakwa Tano inability to beat their own Regional rivals, Berekum Arsenals at the Golden City Park.

The head coach of the Real Tamale United, Mr Ibrahim Shaibu Tanko speaking to the press after the game said the club will return to the drawing table and prepare very well for the premier league.

According to him, what the player's need now is support hence management of the club would go all out to provide them with the needed support.

Some jubilant Supporters of the club at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium registered their joy by praising Allah for the favour, with some commending the Vice President Dr Mahamadu Bawumia and some of the Northern MP's for supporting the team.
