Julian Nagelsmann has spoken that his side must be more than best to beat Paris Saint Germain in the semi-finals of the ongoing Champions League in Portugal.

The manager echoed that making it to the semis is not the end of the journey for Leipzig as they plan to extend their stay in Lisbon by the end of the game on Tuesday night.

The Die Roten Bullen qualified into the semi-final of the European competition for the first time after a 2-1 win against Atletico Madrid on Thursday.

PSG came from behind to nail down Atalanta following the heroics of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe late in the second half.

"Simply having a good performance is not enough against PSG. You have to give it 110 per cent,” he said in the pre-match.

“We are obviously happy to have reached the semis, but don't want our journey to end here."

He reflected on the attitude of his boys against Atletico Madrid and updated that Tuesday shouldn’t be the end after such a hard-fought campaign.

"We didn't really play the kind of football we wanted to after the restart, but you can win playing bad. The players really have the will to win, we are hungry and I can see that in their faces. We were great against Atleti and now we have a chance against Paris. We want to take the next step and are ready for that."

Both teams will be meeting in their first competitive game and would be aiming to reach their first-ever finals in the competition.
