Aftermath Of NPP Flagbearer  Victory: NDC Ablekuma North Youth Organsier Nicknames Veep As 'Dr. Brigade Timothy Bawumia'
ABLEKUMA NORTH Constituency branch Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Greater Accra Region, Mr Abdul Nasiru Rahman, has nicked name Vice President as Dr. Brigade Timothy
Bawumia.

This follows after the NDC young outspoken politician has sent a congratulatory message to Dr Alhaji Mahamadu Bawumia after his victory as the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2024 general election.
"Congratulations to Dr. Timothy Bawumia for emerging as the winner of the first-ever NPP's flagbearership contest, which has produced the most useless and substandard aspirants so far.
'Listening to your very weak and comic speech last night, I realized how you are trying everything possible to run away from reality by reducing the serious business of the 2024 elections to how people have raised concerns about your party consistently reducing flagbearership to Akans over the years, which I personally believe is none of our business and nobody cares.

"Indeed, if NPP truly elected Dr. Bawumia to prove to the NDC that they can also produce a Non-Akan president, then I can say, for a fact, that we are that powerful within the NPP (Alhamdullilah).
"I observed how you are trying to reduce the 2024 campaign to tribalism by saying that, being a northerner, your victory will reduce NDC votes from the northern region after the severe hunger, poverty, joblessness, and hardship they have been through under your watch (Biggest Joke of the century).

"You also mentioned that being elected as the flagbearer and breaking the 8-year cycle in opposition will increase votes in the Zongo communities across the country, even though there is nothing to show. Massa, you better wake up," Mr Abdul Nasiru Rahman blasted the Veep in a news item which was captured by the Soireenews.com.

Alhaji Nas Writes
Congratulations Letter To Dr. Brigade Timothy Bawumia
Congratulations to Dr. Timothy Bawumia for emerging as the winner of the first-ever NPP's flagbearership contest, which has produced the most useless and substandard aspirants so far.
Listening to your very weak and comic speech last night, I realized how you are trying everything possible to run away from reality by reducing the serious business of the 2024 elections to how people have raised concerns about your party consistently reducing flagbearership to Akans over the years, which I personally believe is none of our business and nobody cares.
Indeed, if NPP truly elected Dr. Bawumia to prove to the NDC that they can also produce a Non-Akan president, then I can say, for a fact, that we are that powerful within the NPP (Alhamdullilah).
I observed how you are trying to reduce the 2024 campaign to tribalism by saying that, being a northerner, your victory will reduce NDC votes from the northern region after the severe hunger, poverty, joblessness, and hardship they have been through under your watch (Biggest Joke of the century).
You also mentioned that being elected as the flagbearer and breaking the 8-year cycle in opposition will increase votes in the Zongo communities across the country, even though there is nothing to show. Massa, you better wake up.
Putting all your substandard speech together kept me thinking: Am I watching and listening to the same Dr. Bawumia we all knew before the 2016 elections? Mr. Flagbearer, you actually impressed your fellow bedbugs, sucking and milking the public purse and poor taxpayers' money as if there is no tomorrow.
You indeed impressed them because you are just a replica of Nana Addo, and they believe in your competence in corruption and clearing of corrupt cases experience you have learned from your boss.
Therefore, your winning ticket remains an assurance and a guarantee of covering up the mess you created and setting them free to spend the stolen money kept in their rooms, should we make another mistake and allow Jean Mensa and the NPP judiciary to get away with their sins.
I can boldly tell you for a fact that most right-thinking Ghanaians were seriously disappointed last night after listening to your hopeless speech because you had the opportunity to clear yourself from the disgrace awaiting you by answering your own 170 questions, but you failed.
You had the opportunity to explain to Ghanaians, as an economic wizard, how, amidst Covid-19 across the world, Ghana's currency was ranked as the worst performing currency in the world.
You had the opportunity to explain how we moved from taxation to super killer taxations when you promised the youth production. You had the opportunity to explain to Ghanaians how we, who supposedly didn't have to borrow from anywhere, have borrowed more than any government in our history to the extent of being blacklisted from borrowing anywhere in the world.
You had the opportunity to explain how we are experiencing the worst inflation and Cedi depreciation day in and out, as if nobody is in charge. You had the opportunity to explain how the exchange rate went from 1 dollar to 2 Cedis to 1 dollar to 13 Cedis.
You had the opportunity to explain how corruption index and perception have increased astronomically, and the clearing of thieves has become a normal activity under your leadership as a vice president.
Brigade Dr. Timothy Bawumia, last night was a clear opportunity for you to say sorry to Ghanaians for the unbearable hardship, hunger, and joblessness you have helped to impose on Ghanaians.
But you chose to take the easy route by reducing the serious business of the day to a funfair and comedy, as is usual for you. You decided to lower the bar to zero with those 'nothing to show' Zongo, region, and tribalistic arguments, I believe because you simply have nothing better to offer to Ghanaians aside from lies and deception.
Conclusion
I want to assure you that going into the 2024 election campaign will be purely based on how the state of the economy was in 2016 and how you have run it down to zero by 2024.
We will raise the bar high by campaigning based on track records, what you have done together with your boss Nana Addo in 8 years, and what the former president John Dramani Mahama has equally done in 8 years.
We are going into the 2024 elections to campaign based on economic figures backed by scientific data, and we will debate extensively with video-based evidence and promises against what has been delivered.
We will campaign and provide evidence of NPP's achievements in the Zongo and the NDC's achievements, including the northern regions. We will campaign extensively on job creation, credibility, integrity, and corruption. Someone should tell Mr. Timothy Bawumia and send a strong warning and signal to Jean Adukwai Mensa, together with the NPP judges, that they should prepare, because we will not, once again, reduce serious business to mind games and personal selfish interests.
Ghanaians have suffered enough under this unbearable hardship, hunger, and difficult economic situation, which we cannot afford for another 4 years under the NPP. Therefore, it remains our sole responsibility to provide them with the opportunity to make an informed decision.
