Ahafo: Asunafo South DCE inspects proposed site for construction of police headquarters

The District Chief Executive Officer of Asunafo South District in the Ahafo Region, Honorable. Adu-Poku Frank has inspected a project site for the construction of the District Police Headquarters at Sankore. 

The DCE after the inspection observed that, the district police headquarters when completed will help promote security in the area to minimize the rampant crime that  are normally recorded in the area.

The project which is being undertaken by Frimps Engineering Construction Ltd, Mr.George Frimpong the Project Engineer assured that, within a space of 12 months the District Police headquarters will be finished for use to support the people in terms of security. 

Adding that the Police headquarters when completed will made of C.I.D Office, Station Master Office, Exhibit Store, Charge Office, Spacious Lobby, Commander's Office, Crime Officer Office, Cells, Interrogation Room and others.

Sankore as is being noted for all sorts of political tensions, speaking to some of the stakeholders they believe building the Police headquarters is a step in the right direction to help protect the people in the area and also to allow peace to prevail.
