Ahafo Regional Minister Inspects Ongoing Projects

Honourable George Yaw Boakye Ahafo Regional Minister has inspected some ongoing projects in the Ahafo Region.

The projects, funded by the Government of Ghana are to ensure that infrastructural projects are equitably distributed in all regions.

The one-day working tour took the Minister to the site of the Regional Health Directorate at Hwidiem in the Asutifi South District where works done were said to be around 70 per cent.

He was also at the project sites of bungalows for workers, the Regional Education Directorate at Bechem, Regional Agriculture office and building of the Regional Coordinating Council at Goaso, all at various stages of completion.

The Regional Minister expressed satisfaction at the progress of work after the contractors assured that the projects would be completed soon.

The outgoing Ahafo Regional Minister and MP for Asunafo North, Honourable Evans Opoku Bobbie told that he will continue to work for the development of the Region whether he is a Minister or not.

Mr Evans Opoku Bobbie said, "he did not join politics for the sake of money but to ensure development for his people”.

He made this comment when he joined the Current Ahafo Regional Minister to inspect ongoing projects in the Region.
