Manchester United has announced further alterations to its executive lineup, revealing that interim CEO Patrick Stewart and chief financial officer Cliff Baty will depart at the season's end by mutual agreement.

This transition marks a pivotal moment as the club embraces a new era under co-owner Jim Ratcliffe's leadership.

Jean-Claude Blanc, the CEO of Ratcliffe’s INEOS Sport, will assume the role of chief executive until Omar Berrada, former Manchester City executive, assumes the position on July 13. Meanwhile, Roger Bell, former INEOS Sport chief financial officer, will succeed Baty.

Ratcliffe expressed gratitude to Stewart and Baty for their contributions, acknowledging their role in facilitating the club's transition and extending best wishes for their future endeavors.

The departure of Stewart and Baty follows the exits of former CEO Richard Arnold in November and football director John Murtough earlier this month, as Manchester United continues to reshape its management team.
