Akufo Addo inaugurates phase one of Regional Fire office complex

The president of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo has inaugurated the first phase of the Bono regional office complex of the Ghana National Fire Service.
The project which began in 1999 was completed in June 2021at a contract sum of 2,672,968.44 and undertaken by Vision construction Ltd and Samotrust Ltd.
Zonal consultant at the Architectural Engineering Services Limited, Edward Agyemang Peprah said the first phase consists of 12 offices, an ICT lab, conference room, appliance base, storage room, forecourt, security post, and the walling of the area.
The second phase will be the construction of kitchen and canteen, multipurpose court, parking space for visitors, reservoir, summer hut among other things.
However, Mr. Agyemang does not know when the second phase will take place.
