Two Armed robbers have raided a mobile money vendor and electrical shops at Kasoa Opeikuma in Awutu Senya East District of the Central Region.

According to an eyewitness report, the incidents happened Monday, April 20, 2021, around 11:45 am and almost five victims escaped death after several gunshots were fired by robbers in the broad daylight.

The mobile money vendor before losing his monies received several slaps from the crooks.

A victim who was traumatized told Soiree New correspondent in the Central Region, Alex Donkoh armed robbers stormed the shops on a motorbike wearing face masks and asked them for their monies.

Electrical shop

He narrated that they started running away for their lives after gunshots were being fired leaving six people injured and were quickly rushed to Opeikuma Hospital for treatment.

They have therefore called for Military protection due to the rate at which robbers are terrorizing their lives.

Residents further appealed to the Inspector General of Police to work hand in hand with the military and deeply men to Kasoa and its environs for proper shield.
