“Churches must pay drummers and cleaners for their services” - Deacon

Deacon with the Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI) in Sunyani, Emmanuel Owusu Ansah has attacked exploitation by churches in the country.

While suggesting ways of employing the youth in the churches, he asked the churches to recognize and appreciate the good works instrumentalists are doing during church services.
"One thing I would like Churches in Ghana is to give a stipend to instrumentalists and other staff who are working for the church.  Problem’s instrumentalists sometimes face are unbearable and the Church should come to their aid", Mr. Owusu Ansah exclusively told Soiree News reporter Rosemond Kissiwaa.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of D-Drum also asked the same to be done for other church workers such as cleaners.
"The government can also partner the Churches to pay some workers since they are Ghanaians to reduce the employment rate we are facing", Mr. Emmanuel Owusu Ansah opined.
Speaking to a section of Ghanaians on the street of Sunyani, they were divided on the suggestion by the latter. Some believe his suggestion was a right call while think they are serving God and that should be enough
