The Member of Parliament (MP) for Kpando Constituency in the Volta Region, Mrs Della Adwoa Sowah, has sent well wishes to a total of 1208 candidates in Junior High Schools who are writing the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) in her constituency.
The MP, who doubles as the former Deputy Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection sent the message to the candidates praying to God to favour this year's BECE candidates with good luck.
“To the little ones in my constituency who are starting writing your BECE exams from  Monday October 17, 2022,  I want to take this opportunity to wish you good luck. I pray that the Almighty God helps you to excel. Thank you. This is your MP, Hon Adwoa Sowah ,” she said.
The female MP who is the mother of all used the opportunity to urge the candidates of BECE to avoid examination malpractice which would lead them in the wrong side of the law.
He encouraged the students to learn all the topics for which they were taught by their teachers.
"I am encouraging you to learn all the education materials given to you by your teachers because what they are going to meet were what the topics they had been taught in their classes by their teachers," she saod warning that it is wrong to send foreign materials to the examinations hall.
"Do not fellow any teacher or middle person to give you any fake material which would take to the examination hall that would land you in the trouble," she further emphasized.
She called on the students not to give up of their dream, saying that they should learn hard to achieve their best results from the examination.
'We wish the candidates the best of luck in their examinations and pray for God blessings upon them before, during and after the examination," she reiterated.
552,276 pupils from 18,501 junior high schools across the country are sitting the 2022 BECE.
