The member of parliament for Dormaa East, Hon Paul Twum Barimah has donated items to SHS First-year students from Dormaa East Constituency who have been offered admission as borders into Various Senior High Schools across the country.

At a short ceremony held at Wamfie, the MP donated items such as a chop box, plastic bucket, washing powders, soaps, milo, milk, sugar, and other assorted items needed for boarding house students.

Over 150 students across the Constituency benefited from the benevolent act of the Member of Parliament.

Addressing the students and parents gathered, the Dormaa East Constituency Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Obeng Asare Kaakyire, together with other Constituency executives admonished the students to live exemplary lives devoid of negative acts as they pursue a new chapter of their educational career.

Mr. Kaakyire applauded the MP Hon. Paul Twum Barimah stated that this is the second time in a row the MP is providing items to SHS students in the area.

Also at the ceremony were Mr. Abiola and Mr. Oppong Yaw who represented the District Director of Education. They expressed their profound gratitude to the Member of Parliament for this kind gesture. Mr. Abiola reiterated the directorate's appreciation to the MP for his role in helping education in Dormaa East since the time he assumed office as the Member of Parliament.
