Following alleged threats of legal action from Tupac Shakur's attorneys, a Drake song that featured the late rapper's AI-generated voice has vanished.

Drake: AI Tupac song removed from rapper's Instagram following legal dispute

The Canadian superstar released Taylor Made Freestyle last Friday; it also uses artificial intelligence to imitate Snoop Dogg. Then, according to sources on Wednesday of this week, Drake was given a 24-hour deadline by Tupac's estate to remove the song.

On Thursday night, the rapper's @Champagnepapi account deleted the post that included the video. Since the recording was taken down, neither party has made any public comments.

According to music publication Billboard, Drake received the cease-and-desist letter on Tuesday from Howard King, an attorney representing Tupac's estate. It referred to Taylor Made Freestyle as a "abuse" of Tupac's legacy and a "flagrant violation" of the law.

The estate threatened to "pursue all of its legal remedies" if the tracker was not found by the deadline, expressing its "dismayed and disappointed" response.

Attorney Mr. King further emphasized that Drake had previously protested to having his voice replicated in the popular song Heart on My Sleeve, which also included The Weeknd's voice from Canada.

The most recent installment in Drake and competitor Kendrick Lamar's back-and-forth diss track feud was Taylor Made Freestyle.

The court letter purportedly made reference to the fact that the AI-generated lyrics of Tupac and Snoop Dogg's song targeted the Pulitzer Prize-winning hip-hop musician.

It described Kendrick as "a good friend to the Estate who has given nothing but respect to Tupac and his legacy publicly and privately" . Drake referred to Taylor Swift as the "biggest gangster in the music game right now" in his own verse on the song.

In a reference to a statement from his most recent album, For All the Dogs, he also mentioned that he would reschedule his record to avoid releasing it concurrently with the billionaire pop sensation.

Despite this, he did release his freestyle song shortly after the release of her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, last week.

One of the most well-known figures in hip-hop was Tupac Shakur, whose stage name was stylized as 2Pac.

California Love, All Eyez On Me, and Changes were among the singles that he charted after releasing his debut album in 1991, which went on to sell over 75 million copies worldwide.

He was shot four times in a drive-by incident in Las Vegas in 1996, when he was twenty-five years old. Shakur's murder has been linked to Duane "Keffe D" Davis, a former gang boss.

The 60-year-old entered a not guilty plea in November to the charge.
