Fear And Panic Grip Bibiani Residents!—As Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom Accused Of Using Bitting Dog To Chase Out Land Developers From His House 

NANA Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II, the previously destooled sub-chief of Kyikyiwere and Krotihene of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council in the Western Region, has been accused to have caused fear and panic among the land developers in the area, the situation which was affecting development and human security.

This heartbreaking development follows when Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom II was reported to have been using his bitting dog to chase out some individual land developers who had bought their lands from him in Bibiani and have some problems/challenges with him after buying the lands.

These continuous act and practice exhibited by Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom were revealed to journalists by the Abusuapanin of Sewfi Anhwiaso Traditional Area who doubles as Abakomahene of Pataboso, Nana Okofo Berema Kwabena Beng II at a crowed press conference held at Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council on Saturday May 25, 2024.

Area held the press conference to respond to some erroneous impressions being peddled by Nana Kodom against the Paramount Chief (Omanhene) of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, and entire people of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Area.

Addressing the press conference on behalf of the chiefs at Ogyeahoho’s palace at Sefwi Anhwiaso, Nana Okofo Berema Kwabena Beng II condemned this heinous act of Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom, saying that "we are tired of receiving numerous complaints from the affected land developers of the fraudulent sale of land engaged by Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom.

Being the head of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional and Abakomahene of Pataboso, Nana Okofo Berema Kwabena Beng II revealed that some of the affected land developers have reported to him on how they were defrauded by Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom in land transactions.

According to him, since Nana Ngoah Anyimah Kodom was destooled as Chief Of Kyikyiwere and Krontihene Of Sefwi Anhwiaso Traditional Council, he [Ngoah Anyimah Kodom has been using his illegitimate chieftaincy status as Bibianihene to be making double sale of a plot of land to three or more people which situation was creating land dispute and litigation in the area.

"It is very disgusting and shameful when some of these affected land developers came to us to complain that whenever they have detected unlawful sale in the land transaction we have with Ngoah Anyimah Kodom]  and decided to collect our monies, the man would use his bitting bulldog to chase us out from his private house at Bibiani," the traditional ruler quoted the affected land developers.

"I am saying that we have hard evidence to prove these statements we were making today against him. So if he [Ngoah Anyimah Kodom] claimed that he hasn't done that we are challenging him to take us to the law court for us to meet him there over these matters.

"The complaints against Ngoah Anyimah Kodom for the double sale of one plot of land to two or four people have become too much and even the latest one we received was on Saturday, May 25, 2024 and we are making arrangements to meet over the matter and find solution to address it. This is a criminal and unacceptable. We Want Peace In Bibiani," he stated.

He warned Ngoah Anyimah Kodom and his miscreants who want to foment trouble in Bibiani, and disturb the relative peace in the town to desist.

According to the Traditional ruler, Ngoah Anyimah Kodom currently has no position within the traditional Council, saying he is now is making some moves that could jeopardize the peace, and retard the development of the area.

He asserted that the said former Krontihene is creating problems in the area and that he must be called to order by the national security.
