Flames Of Disunity Lightened As Essuakyiri Anona Royal Family Zooms Into Disarray Over Chieftaincy Brouhaha.

Unveiled to be a major contributing factor to country Ghana's dwindling development as chieftaincy disputes in the sharing of the national cake have been dished out to the Anona Royal Family of Essuakyiri in the Cape Coast North District of the Central Region.

 its fair share of the perceived nationwide threat as the once peaceful family splits over the chieftaincy hubbub.

The uproar per pieces gathered over chieftaincy disputes uncovers the stir of threat of peaceful families emanating from the backlash of the demise of the late Essuakyiri chief, Nana Abeka IV in 2015.

The successor of the deceased chief has created high tension among the members of the royal family which has gone through diverse phases of chieftaincy struggles led by the family head, Abusuapayin Kwame Otoo who the onus lies to appoint the right person to ascend the throne.

According to information gathered, one Yaw David Mensah a royal family has been appointed but a section of the family members has opposed his appointment to succeed the late king. 

Some of the embittered family members over their decline to affirm the aforementioned personality's appointment as the next chief accuses him of some atrocious deeds which to them disqualify him from ascending the throne but rather prefer another person by the name of John Aidoo.

According to them, the appointment and the legitimacy of Yaw David Mensah to be confirmed has been soiled by the reason of selling off a portion of the family's stool lands without the consent of the family and any account made to the leadership of the family.

Some of the angry family members find it irritating to enstool him and are lamenting if care is not taken his confirmation will fuel many unseen controversies among the family members.

The level of displeasure among some of the youth of the Essuakyiri Anona Royal Family has been disturbing. 

Kweku Kaya the head of the royal family's youths on behalf of the agitated youths spelled out that both the Paramount Chief of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarimba Nana Kwesi Atta II together with the Regional Police Command are not helping at all to settle the situation and the matter at stake.
