Efia Odo has asked the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, to supply free electricity to Ghanaian citizens if he wants the ban on public gatherings to be effective. 

The president placed has prohibited public gatherings during his second address to the nation concerning the six new confirmed cases of the COVID-19.

The television personality took to her social media pages and asked the President to give free electricity to encourage Ghanaian citizens to stay home.

 “At this point, all lights and utilities should be free! It’s not our fault this virus is in Ghana. Causing us to even be sacred to go on about our business. Staying home means more consumption of electricity! Mr President, please give us free,” she said.

The TV show host who relocated from the U.S to Ghana expressed her frustration at the electricity situation, as they apparently switched hers off as she was writing the tweet. She posted another tweet to express her regret.
