Birthday girl, MzVee

Foxy Ghanaian artiste, MzVee, has announced that she is a year older today by uploading photos of herself on her media pages.

This seems to be the go-to method for Ghanaian celebrities when they want to make public their birthday.

MzVee uploaded two beautiful photos with a caption to thank God for the new year.

MzVee in her case praised God, her friends, and family before giving photo credit to the cameraman. She wrote: "Thank You God for adding another year to my life!!!!!! Thank you family and friends for making me whole! God bless us all on my birthday today! Photo by @manuelphotography_official.

MzVee, whose real name is Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda wore black off-shoulder top with a tattered jeans trouser, striking two different poses in two pictures.

The first with her elbow resting on her favorite guitar and the second with her strumming the guitar with a huge smile on her face.

She was born in South La Estates, Accra to Ernest Hamenoo-Kpeda, a businessman, and Florence Hamenoo-Kpeda, a caterer. She has two older sisters and a brother and attended St Martin de Porres School in Accra in her early years.

She moved on to St. Mary's Girls' Senior High School and is now studying Business Administration at Ghana Telecom University.
