Head of Kulaw Traditional Area Endorses MCE Nominee For East-Gonja
Paramount Chief of the Kulaw Traditional Area in the Savannah region, overlord Kulaw-wura Akur-Ati has endorsed President nominee Hon Mohammed Tamimu as Municipal Chief Executive, for East-Gonja Municipal Assembly.

The President’s Municipal Chief Executive, MCE nominee for the East-Gonja Municipal Assembly, Hon Mohammed Tamimu, has been blessed and endorsed by the Paramount Chief of the Kulaw Traditional Area in the Savannah region.
The overlord Kulaw-wura Akur-Ati expressed his sincerest gratitude to the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the reappointment of Hon Mohammed Tamimu as MCE.
His reappointment to the office is to continue the good works in quest of development in the Municipality.
The Chief and his elders pledged to earnestly support the HonourableTamimu in bringing development to his jurisdictional enclave and the whole of East Gonja Municipality.
“I would, however, plead with the President of the Republic of Ghana, through you, MCE to rehabilitate the Kulaw Traditional Area road Network in order to facilitate economic activities in this our area” Kulaw-wura added.
The Kulaw-wura also pleaded with the MCE to give priority attention to basic education in the area in terms of infrastructure and other logistics.
The MCE nominee for the East-Gonja Municipality, Hon Mohammed Tamimu promised the Kulaw-wura to fix the road network of the area if all things being equal.
He also pointed out that, in a not too distant future, seven hundred (700) dual-desk furniture would be supplied to schools in the entire traditional Area which would first furniture intervention to assist complement education in the area.
The MCE used the platform to officially inform the Chiefs and people of Kulaw traditional area of his re-nomination as the MCE of the East-Gonja Municipal Assembly.
The MCE pledged a frequent visitation to the Kulaw area when confirmed.
In attendance were the four Assembly members of the Kulaw electoral areas, the Chief Islamic cleric of the area, the NPP Constituency Women Organizer, the Presiding Member of the East Gonja Municipal Assembly and the Constituency 2nd Vice Chairman of the NPP in Salaga South during the MCE official visit on September 25, 2021, to introduce himself to chiefs of Kulaw traditional area.
