The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Agona East Constituency in the Central Region, Mrs Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr is full of joy over the smiles her educational intervention projects and programmes are putting on her constituents.

In her New Year message, Mrs Sawyerr said, "I asked God to help me make education and health my priority during my third term and I am already singing praises to God."

According to her,  Sunday,  January 10, 2021, was a full day with executives and some of her university graduates, who benefited from the educational project she initiated.

"I was truly humbled with the speeches from my students and little did I know that the little things I do for some people in my constituency means a lot to them.

"I was soo glad I could put smiles on the faces of the tertiary students who had applied to my office for financial assistance"

She expressed happiness that her project, dubbed Maame Pokuah Fee Paying (MPFP) scheme had been able to support 25 students with GH¢1,000 each.

"By God's grace, the MPFP scheme was able to support 25 students with GHs1,000 each. "

She disclosed that her meeting with the students has provided enlightened on how the students benefited from the funds.

"At the end of the day we were able to bond and share quality ideas, we ended with prayers with assurances from each of them to excel and make Agona East proud! we could also talk about my health plans for the constituency this year God willing, so together we can save and stop a lot of preventable deaths," she indicated.
