Market Women Association Donates Food Items To Security Officers

Market Women at Atebubu main market have today donated food items to Security Officers in the Municipality to motivate them in their efforts of fighting crime.

The items donated include Oil, Rice, Yam, meat, fish, Onion, Garden eggs, Voltic, Cassava etc.

According to Madam Amaria Boanyo who led the Market women said the presence of the Military and Special Anti-robbery Squad in the Municipality have helped to bring to an end of activities of armed robbers.

She said market women have suffered a lot at the hands of armed robbers some months ago but now they can go to their daily activities without any fear and panic.

She said they will continue to support the security Officers in terms of food for them to execute their work.

Receiving the items on behalf of the Security Officers, Chief Inspector Isaac Kwao Banafo station Officer at Atebubu Police station commended the Market women for their donation.

He appealed to the public to help police with information to fish out all the criminals from society.
