The Member of Parliament for Techiman South Constituency, Honourable Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, popularly known as MIKAM as promised to put an end to fire outbreaks in his constituency.

According to him, he is in constant interaction with the Municipal Assembly to find a lasting solution to the fire menace.

He said they are effortless planning to pave roads in the community for the free flow of traffic which will in turn help in a rapid response from the Fire Fighting Department for their fire tenders to get free access to localities that will need their services with ease.

Honourable Martin said this when he paid a visit to the Techiman Magazine to console victims of last Saturday's fire outbreak at their various shops.

MIKAM assured the victims that government will give them the necessary support to kickstart their Business again but advised all to stop parking cars at inappropriate places because such behaviour makes it difficult for the fire tenders to get smooth and easy access to the affected buildings.

Former Chairman for the Techiman Garages Association, Mr Adamu Acheampong, revealed that four big stores with brand new spare were burnt.

He preached for unity among the workers at Techiman Magazine as he believes that is the only way to ensure that such disaster never happens again.
