Ghanaian actor, Adjetey Anang, has admonished young actors to not be deceived by the fake lifestyles of female celebrities in the industry.

He explained that intending actors should come into the industry with dreams and aspirations to become the best entertainers in the world, and not because they want to be like Jackie Appiah and Nadia Buari.

According to him, the fancy things they see some of their favorite actors show off on their social media platforms are often fake because not all that glitters is gold.

“Set your motivation right before entering into the film industry,” he told the host in an interview on Adom TV.

“Some people are motivated by the fancy dresses Nadia Buari, Jackie Appiah wear on social media,” he said

Adjetey Anang said even though it's not bad to want to live like that, it should never be a form of motivation for anyone.

"That one is not too bad but, if that is your main motivation, you won’t go far. Your motivation should be about coming into the industry to exhibit your talent and skill to help the industry grow,” he said.

He finally advised the young actors to work acquiring skills in addition to their talent.

“You can’t rely on only passion and talent; you should acquire skills and train. You can’t be Jackie Appiah and Majid Michel overnight,” he concluded
