NDC’s Yamin Responds To  Hawa Koonson's Threats;  Dares Her To 'Fool' Again
NATIONAL ORGANIZER of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Joseph Yammin on Wednesday January 3, 2024 stormed Awutu Senya East at the the backyard of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP),  Honourable Mavis Hawa Koomson to respond to threat she has issued to him and other NDC top shots to face off against them in her constituency.

According to Mr Yammin, he has chosen to storm the backyard of Honourable Koomson before he respond to her threats on their lives sometime ago because he is not a coward to sit on radio or television before he offered response to her threat.
The NDC outspoken politician noted that the MP has officially invited him to come to this constituency, and that he has come here today to send a strong warning to her that "if she claims that she is a woman terror who has the heart, then on December 7, 2024, let us all meet on the election grounds in her constituency."
Mr Yammin's reaction cane in a wake of the publication by Honourable Koomson who declared her intention to match opponents calling for violence.
In that report, Honourable Koomson
dared Mr Yammin and the Deputy General Secretary of the Party, Mustapha Gbande to bring on their game in 2024 when the country goes to the polls.
According to the MP, she is unfazed by the recent issuance of threats by the opposition party in relation to next year’s elections and is ever ready to face off in her constituency.
“I am happy to respond. Mustapha Gbandi should be warned, he should leave me out of his mouth, he and his Yammin.
"They know me and I know them, if he thinks ranting on radio is what is manliness, he should forget it. Manliness is shown on the grounds. If he likes he should meet me at Kasoa. He and Joseph Yammin should meet me at Kasoa, I will show them that there is a woman who is more than a man. They should meet me in Kasoa if they believe they are prepared,” she stated.
Hawa Koomson was responding to the duo who have cited her in the call for NDC members to arm themselves when going to polling stations in 2024.
But, according to Mr Yammin, they are not afraid of Honourable Koomson, the development which has informed he decision to come the backyard of Honourable Koomson before he responded to her threat she has earlier issued on their lives sometimes ago.
"I know Hawa Koomson personally and it is high time for me to respond to the threat she has issued to our lives. So since l am a coward person l have decided to come her own backyard to officially respond to her threat against us," Yammin stated  amidst applaud from the crowds of the NDC faithfuls.
"We want to send her these strong messages that Hawa Koomson should hear from us today that she should pray she would even being on the election field on December 7, 2024, but she should be mindful that we are going to match her boot-for-boot," Mr.Yammin warned.
Mincing no words, Mr Yammin expressed disappoinment of the Ghana Police Service headed by Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr. George Akuffo Dampare for not inviting Honourable Koomson for questioning of issuing the dangerous threat on their lives.
"I am very surprised because I am expecting that by now the Ghana Police Service should have invited Hawa Koomson for issuing the death threat on them. Hawa Koomson has issued a threat by saying that if we are men we should come to her constituency. I am telling the police administration that this is a dangerous threat but since the this threat by Hawa Koomson, the police are quite for her to be walk free after making this dangerous threat on our personal lives.
"As for the threat on our lives, these ones the IGP has not heard or seen this dangerous threat. The current IGP has not made his mindset to intervene into the matter by way to invite the MP. So since the IGP has kept quite over the matter our best way to respond to the threat by Hawa Koomson against us was to also issue threat to her.
"I am send these strong messages to Hawa Koomson that if she claimed she is a woman in the next electorate event in her constituency she should come to the election grounds again to demonstrate her arrogant posture or she should come to fool and she would see that we have fool than her.
"Honourable Hawa Koomson is nobody that warrants our response but she speaks and nobody responses, she may thinks that she is woman of champion. But Hawa Koomson is nobody to us," he jabbed Hawa Koomson," Mr Yammin.
