Neymar will not play a role in the second leg of Paris Saint Germain clash with Barcelona at the Parc des Princes in France.

The Brazil international missed the first leg of the Champions League at Camp Nou where Mbappe’s hat trick and Moise Keane’s goal gave the visitors a 4-1 advantage after Messi had earlier converted from the spot.

Barcelona travels to the French capital on Wednesday, March 9, 2021, with the hope of overturning the deficit as PSG seek to welcome a few stars into the team with Neymar still not fit to play against his former side.

The 29-year-old sustained a hip injury during PSG’s 1-0 victory over Caen last month and has been ruled out despite initial reports suggesting he would be back for the Parc des Princes clash.

The club has also confirmed that Juan Bernat continues his recovery and individual work as Moise Kean remains in self-isolation due to COVID-19.
