Notorious cable thief arrested at Obuasi
The suspect is currently in Police custody at Obuasi Central Police station assisting the investigation.

A notorious cable thief has been arrested by the Obuasi Police at Wawasi, a suburb of Obuasi East District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
A report gathered by Soireenews Kofi Wusu Brempong indicates that he attempted to steal electricity cables belonging to AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi Mine at railway lines in Obuasi.
The suspect has been identified as Emmanuel Amissah, 45 years of age.
He is currently in Police custody at Obuasi Central Police station assisting the investigation.
The Police has assured the general public that his accomplice will be arrested for these acts.
