The Awutu Breku District police command has confirmed the incident but has no arrest has been made.

A 45-year-old man, Christopher Avedzi has met his untimely death after a group of Land notorious Guards numbering about four beats and inflicted cutlass wounds on him to death at Awutu Bosom- Abena in the Awutu Senya West District in the Central Region.

According to information, the deceased was taken care of his mother's provisions store when the leader of the group Kweku Agyatey came to the store, took the bread knife and started using the knife to scratch his hands. In the process, the deceased questioned the notorious gang leader overusing the bread knife unhygienically. 

In an interview with Media, Madam Cecilia Avedzi sister to the deceased said, the deceased confronted the leader of the group told him to stop playing with the bread knife due to covid-19.

Cecilia said, after the misunderstanding on the bread knife, the leader of the suspects, Kweku Agyatey called his friends who are land guards, with guns, cutlasses and started beating him till they saw blood oozing from his nose, mouth.

Meanwhile, the mother of eight children, the deceased wife Georgina Armah said, she was traumatised after she saw the land guards using his husband head to hits trees till he went unconscious.

The Awutu Breku District police command has confirmed the incident but has made any arrest.
