Residents call on SMA to institute law to curb poor sanitation in the City
Residents in the Bono Region believe such will help prevent dumping of refuse on unapproved grounds.

Soiree news has been speaking with some residents of Sunyani on the increasing rate at which refuse are dumped on the streets of the Sunyani main station.
Some residents who spoke believe the Sunyani Municipal Assembly (SMA) must constitute by-laws that will strictly deal with culprits and that they believe will deter others from doing same.
Describing the act as worrying, the residents said there will be much improvement on the Sanitation situation if there are strict laws and dust bins installed at vantage points of the city.
They however blamed some saloon workers for the bad odour in town due to the pillage of dirty water into the gutters.
They also asked the Assembly to set up a security task force to deal with people who might be found culpable to serve as a deterrent to others.
