Red Bull Salzburg forward, Erling Braut Haaland has expressed that he would like to play in the English Premier League despite notice from Real Madrid and Barcelona.

According to his father, the 19-year old is hoping to move to England amidst links to Manchester United this week.

"At one stage he would like to play in the Premier League, but when that will happen, I don’t know. It is a very tough league

“Up to now he is ahead of the stage we thought he would be at. He is built for the Premier League, but whether that will happen now or at a later stage, we don’t know.

"He is at Red Bull, a fantastic club playing Champions League so in a way he is in no hurry," he told talkSPORT.

 

 

Haaland has scored seven goals in four UEFA Champions League games as well as putting home 12 goals in 11 appearances for his side in the Austria Bundesliga. He opened the scores in Naples with a 11-minute penalty strike in a game that ended 1-1 between the sides.
