The story of Liverpool and Thiago Alcantara is not over until the final destination of the Champions League winner is determined.

Thiago has longed been linked with Premier League winners following his decision not to extend his stay at the Allianz Arena as his current contract nears to the finish.

Jurgen Klopp has officially made inquiries about the 29-year old yet the Reds seem not ready to pay 30m euros to the Bavarians for the services of the Spaniard.

According to sky sports, the player has said his final goodbyes to teammates yet where he is headed is undetermined since no club has made contact for the versatile midfielder.

"Thiago Alcantara was at Bayern Munich on Tuesday; they had a family day at the end of the season and Bayern chief Karl Heinz-Rummenigge said it looked like he was saying his goodbyes,” Kaveh Solhekol told on The Transfer Show.

 

 

"He seems to think Thiago is leaving but we're still being told there has been no approach, no contact - and that Liverpool will not pay 30m euros for a 29-year-old who is out of contract in a matter of months. 

"But that doesn't mean they're not interested in signing him...”

Thiago was part of the Triple 2020 squad - winning the 2020 Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champiosn League.
