A press release sign by the Ahafo National Democratic Congress Regional Youth Organiser, Sulemana Masahudu has said the Youth Wing of the NDC in the Ahafo Region is saddened by an unprovoked attack meted out to Honourable Alhaji Collins Dauda, Member of Parliament for Asutifi South by Honorable Ursula Owusu Ekufful on the eve of the dissolution of the 7th Parliament of the Republic of Ghana.

According to them, it is disgusting for Hon. Alhaji Collins Dauda, a known experienced, affable, peoples-centred politician and revered personality in Ghana especially, Islamic circles across the country to go through such humiliation in the hands of the Ablekuma West constituency.

They, therefore addressed that it is a gross disrespect and an insult on the people of Asutifi South, Ahafo, Ghana and Deen Islam "for such a perfect gift from Allah to humanity to be treated with disdain on the floor of Parliament by Hon Ursula Owusu Ekufful, someone who is supposed to Know better."

"In order not to give credence to public assertions of her arrogance, we call on her to apologise unreservedly to this Nobleman or prepares for the wrath of such dastardly act.

"We again call on every well-meaning Ghanaian to condemn such acts as they have the potential of riping the moral fibre of the Ghanaian society that our fore Father's laboured for us.

We, therefore, call on the teeming youth of Ahao to remain calm whiles leadership handles this barbaric behaviour of Honorable Ursula Ekufful," the statement added.
