Yendi MP Holds Dinner for Constitutents

Alhaji Farouk Aliu Mahama, Member of Parliament for Yendi has held an iftar and dinner to breakfast with the Muslim community at Yendi.
The get together was held yesterday, Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at the Member of Parliament's family home.
The event hosted some renowned Islamic clerics, friends and families in Yendi, with hundreds of Muslims who fasted attending the evening event.
The event was organized as part of series of programmes to mark the 40th birthday celebration of the legislator.
Addressing the gathering, Alhaji Farouk reiterated the urgent need for the people of Yendi to solidly unite and face the real issues of poverty and backwardness in our society.
He emphasized his readiness to join hands with all agents of development to bring a paradigm shift to the politics of the constituency.
A day before, a similar event was held for the disabled community, where the Member of Parliament made a presentation of 150 bags of rice and cash amount to the disabled community for their upkeep.
