Afenyo Markin In Limbo As NDC Poises To Snatch Effutu Constituency Seat From Him In 2024 Polls 

According to Prof.Asiedu, the constituents are crying for the NDC to wrestle the seat from the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Effutu constituency, Honourable Alexander Afenyo Markin, because they were saying that the NPP MP is not performing to their expectations.

THE CENTRAL Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Prof Richard Kofi Asiedu, has urged members and supporters of the party to bury their differences and join forces with Parliamentary Candidate (PC) of the party in the area, Dr James Kofi Annan to work towards the victory of the party in the 2024 parliamentary and presidential elections.

According to Prof.Asiedu, the constituents are crying for the NDC to wrestle the seat from the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) for Effutu constituency, Honourable Alexander Afenyo Markin, because they were saying that the NPP MP is not performing to their expectations.
The pockets of evidence show that Effutu Constituency Parliamentary Seat belonged to the NDC, but because there was no unity among them, the seat was snatched from the party.
In this regard Prof Asiedu assured members and supporters of victory for the NDC at Effutu and expressed their readiness to support Dr Annan to become their next MP for Effutu constituency.
According to him, Dr Annan has demonstrated to the constituents that he has what it takes to win the seat from the incumbent MP of the Effutu constituency, Honourable Alexander Afenyo Markin.
He said he believed unity behind one person could win the parliamentary seat back for the party in the 2024 election.
“Let us tolerate each and every one’s views since from the top to the down we are all members of the NDC seeking for the party’s victory.
He further assured to do everything possible for the branch executives to receive the needed logistics to work with and asked the constituency executives to supervise their activities because elections were won at the polling stations as they knew the voters in their localities.
