Ahafo Region: MMDCE'S grateful to President Akufo-Addo

The Municipal and District Chief Executive's in the Ahafo Region have expressed appreciation to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his nomination and confirmation and promised to facilitate the development of the region.

The Dean of MMDCE's for Ahafo Region who is also MCE for Asunafo North, Hon Osei Yaw Boahen was Speaking to the pressmen at Goaso after his confirmation.

They also thanked Mr, George Boakye, Ahafo Regional Minister, the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, the Ahafo Regional Executives and entire members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for their support.

"We owe the President a big debt of gratitude for the confidence he has reposed in us to be the Municipal Chief Executive for District and Municipal Assemblies and serve his government," Mr Boahen said.,

"They appreciate the chiefs and people of the Traditional Areas.

"There are no winners or losers; what we have is simple, the President has tasked all of us to work assiduously after we have been confirmed by our respected Assembly Members to champion the development of our communities and for me, this is a sacred call," He added.

 "We cannot fail the President and the government, so teaming up with  Nananom, and other stakeholders is the surest way to bring development to the next level," he said.
