The Chief Executive Officer of Frank Afriyie Company Limited, Mr Frank Afriyie said, his hope and objective are that Ghana will be known as the cleanest country in the African continent.

The Chief Executive Officer of Frank Afriyie Company Limited, the contractor working on Ahafo Regional Waste Treatment Plant has assured president Nana Akufo-Addo, Zoomlion Ghana Limited, the Chiefs and people of Ahafo that work on the plant will soon be completed.

Mr Frank Afriyie, popularly known as Chemicals in an interview with Soireenews Sulley Dramani after visiting with some selected Journalists around the facility to assess the progress of work so far said the project is a collaboration between the Government of Ghana and Zoomlion Ghana Limited in every regional capital clean and provide jobs for the people

Mr Frank Afriyie (Chemicals) who also spill out details of the facility when completed lauded President Nana Akufo-Addo and the Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies and owner of Zoomlion Ghana Limited, Dr Joseph Siaw Agyepong for the collaboration.

He said the construction of the waste plant is in line with the government’s coordinated socio-economic policies aimed at ensuring a clean Ghana.

“This project that we are doing here is critical for the sanitation of our country. We should have a country that is clean. My hope and objective are that Ghana will be known as the cleanest country in the African continent”.

He called on the people to cooperate to ensure the completion of the project on schedule.

He commended the Jospong Group for zooming the vision of the President and taking the advantage of collaborating with the government in the management of waste in the country.
