Aplaku Zongo Installs New Chief 

The Sarkin Zongo of Aplaku,Sarki Issaka Alhasssan l in the Ga South Municipality of the Greater Accra Region has installed a new Zabarma chief in Aplaku.

Under the colourful event, the Sarki Musah Yahaya Yandu of the Greater Accra Council Of Zabarma chiefs, the Aplaku Zongo Chief Sarki Issaka Alhasssan, the Kwashieman Zongo chiefs Alhaji Imrana Bila Ango, Sarki Alhaji Lawal Garibey Zongo tuta chiefs and El-ethai were present to grace the lavish ceremony

The newly installed Zabarma chief of Aplaku, Chief Adamu Hamani called for unity and cooperation among his people towards the accelerated development in the area.

He said that no meaningful development could take place in an area plagued with conflicts and petty divisions.

He made the call when sworing an  oath of Allegience to the Zongo chief of Aplaku ,sarki Issaka Alhasssan I.

The Zongo chief of Aplaku,sarki Issaka Alhasssan I, said traditional leaders have a lot to do in the country's development hence the need to roll out the initiative to complement the efforts of the government.

He urged traditional leaders to contribute their quota towards the development of the country especially in the areas they rule.

Sarki issaka Alhasssan known in his private life as a senior medical practisioner and herbal consultant succeeded in his kingship through humbleness and respect.

Sarki Issaka Alhasssan, the (Aplaku Zongo chief) holds his masters in herbal consultancy.

In a nutshell, he encouraged the youth to focus on their education and resist the quest of engaging in fraudulence.
