The National Road Safety Authority cautions drivers and riders to driver or rides with care as the Black Stars of Ghana play the first league of their 2022 World Cup play-off against the Super Eagles of Nigeria today, March 25, 2022, at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The National Road Safety Authority cautions drivers and riders to driver or rides with care as the Black Stars of Ghana play the first league of their 2022 World Cup play-off against the Super Eagles of Nigeria today, Marco h 25, 2022, at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

In a press statement issued by the Corporate Affairs Unit, the authorities advise all drivers and riders from far and near Kumasi who will drive or ride to watch the football match to reduce their speeds, avoid wrongful overtaking and driving or riding under the influence of alcohol.

The authority further advises drivers, riders, and occupants of vehicles to wear their seatbelts and motorcyclists to also wear crash helmets.

However, the authority is in collaboration with the Motor Transport and Traffic Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service to deploy personnel across the highway and roads to enforce traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety.

They appeal to the public to obey all road traffic rules and regulations before during, and after the game hence wishes the Black Stars of Ghana the best.
