   Bono Regional Minister, Honorable. Justina Owusu Banahene has said, the coordinating council in collaboration with the Agric directorate would help to revamp the burnt farm of the 2021 national female best farmer.

Bono Regional Minister, Honourable  Justina Owusu Banahene has said, the coordinating council in collaboration with the Agric directorate would help to revamp the burnt farm of the 2021 national female best farmer.
She said, “the collaboration would ensure the provision of seedlings for the affected woman”.
She said this during a tour of the region to ascertain the damage caused by the fire at the farm of the 2021 National best female farmer and to commiserate with her for her loss.

  

Mad. Helena Awurusa had her farm razed down by fire at the beginning of the year. Her farm which is at Lamfiaso in the Banda district of the Bono region is estimated to be about 20 acres.
The Minister also cautioned the general public to desist from setting fire in their farms in the name of tilting the land for the cultivation of their crops. 
She said, she would liaise with the Ghana National Fire Service to begin the proper education for farmers on how to burn their bushes during the farming season.
The victim narrated her ordeal to Journalist and added that she is motivated by the words of the Minister. 
She promised not to give up on the farming business despite the disaster
