Brendan Rodgers has denied rumours linking him to the Newcastle United job.

The Leicester City boss, as reported by Sky Sports is happy with life at the King Power Stadium regardless of any offer by the PCP Capital Partners LLP.

Following their take over from Mike Ashley, Steve Bruce’s job has come under scrutiny due to their recent 19th position on the League table, without a win; the Magpies are reported to be looking for a manager of their choice to steer the club ahead.

With plans of improving the squad of the Premier League clubs, a few names of managers have popped up and among them is the former Liverpool manager.

Brendan Rodgers union with the Foxes has been fruitful since he took over from Claude Puel in February 2019, making Leicester City top four contenders. He signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2025 in 2019.

His side haven’t had the smooth sail in the first seven matches of the Premier League yet Brendan’s performance in the Premier League is without a doubt that he can turn things around.

Reports reveal that the Northern Irishman has no interest in talking to Newcastle about the possibility of taking over as manager, and his relationship with Leicester chiefs proves he has more years to spend at the King Power.
