Central Region: Sixty-year-old woman beaten to death at Awutu Breku.

Sixty-year-old woman, Marta Quaye has been beaten severely by one Michael Peron Quaye to death at Awutu bereku in Awutu senya west district of the central region due to a little misunderstanding.

According to the deceased brother prophet Solomon Quaye, the youth manage to griped the suspect Michael Peron Quaye and send it to Awutu bereku police station around 3 am but no police officer was at duty at that time and the suspect was able to make his way out of the police station.

The deceased brother speaking to Soireenews Reporter stated that the suspect is no more to be found after beating the sixty-year-old woman to death.

According to him, the deceased body is currently at the Winneba government morgue.

He has therefore appealed to the inspector general of police to question the district police commander and the station office at Awutu bereku district police command why no single police officer was on duty at the time the suspect was sent to the police station.

Meanwhile, some eyewitnesses told Soireenews what they saw before the bad incident occurred.
