THE Chief of Kwahu Obomeng *Nana Effah Opinamang III, has issued a strong warning to revelers to dress decently and comport themselves to avoid any misconduct during the this year's annual Kwahu festivities.

Every year, Kwahu attracts a multitude of celebrants from around the world for its Easter celebrations.
However, the chief expressed concern about the indecent dressing often observed during these festivities as he urged the need for a change in behavior.
Nana Effah Opinamang III also admonished celebrants to refrain from excessive drinking which could tarnish the reputation of Kwahu.
He called on all natives of Kwahu to return home and contribute to the development of the community.
The chief made these remarks during the commissioning of an ultra-modern social center for Obomeng, underscoring his commitment to fostering positive cultural practices.
"I am warning  the youth especially the young ladies who put on indecent dressing during the Easter festivities to expose their breast and private part to desist from it," he added.

Speaking about the upcoming Kwahu Easter celebration in an interview, he expressed his displeasure about the prevailing trend of the way the young people dressed during the occasion.
"Some of the youth also exhibit some behaviours that do not augur well and portrayed to visitors during the period defeats the purpose for the celebrations," the traditional ruler stressed and admonished the youth to comport themselves.
It is the time for our young people to desist from indulging in excess drinking, drug intake and other criminal activities that will bring the entire Kwahu Easter into disrepute," the chief warned.
He  explained that the festival intended to educate and advised the youth to learn more about their traditions in order to know more about their costumes.
 
On the issue of traffic prevention, Nana Owusu Amoako, "Akwamuhene" Oseikrm Nkawkaw appealed to the drivers during the Easter Festivity to park well in to pave way for commuters and traders to enhance smooth access for businesses.
He expressed hope that, this year's Easter festival is going to be extraordinary because it's an election year so therefore that will make the stretch motorable.
