Christianity has changed our believe system - CUCG Vice chancellor

Vice-Chancellor of the Catholic University College of Ghana, Professor Daniel Obeng-Ofori says Christianity has changed the belief system in Ghana.

Most people have argued that the introduction of Christianity has contributed to the surge in immorality and crime in society.

But the purpose of Christianity was to preach love, forgiveness, unity, tolerance among other good virtues.

Speaking to the media at the sideline of a workshop organized by the University for religion teachers at Baakoniaba GNAT hall on March 18, 2021, Prof. Obeng-Ofori charged all believers to work towards changing that narrative.

According to him, Christianity must shape society into good form and not destruction.

He expressed worry over how people give reverence to deities than God. Prof Obeng-Ofori however called on religious bodies to as a matter of importance to step up their game in ensuring the fear of God is instilled in the society.
