Coronavirus: Nigeria Records 48 New Cases, Total Now 162,641
NCDC revealed that the figures represent the lowest daily cases recorded in the country since the beginning of 2021.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has revealed that the active cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country has risen to 10,126.
This is sequel to the confirmation of 49 new cases in 8 states by the agency, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the country so far to 162,641.
The figures represent the lowest daily cases recorded in the country since the beginning of 2021.
NCDC made the announcement on Monday night while giving updates on daily cases via its official website.
The health agency also confirmed the recovery and discharge of 158 patients, bringing the total number of recoveries to 150,466.

The report reads: “On the 29th of March 2021, 48 new confirmed cases and 1 death was recorded in Nigeria.
''Till date, 162641 cases have been confirmed, 150466 cases have been discharged and 2049 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The 48 new cases are reported from 8 states- Lagos (13), Kaduna (7), Nasarawa (7), Kano (6), Kwara (5), Ondo (4), Akwa Ibom (3), and Osun (3).
