Covid-19: Ghana’s Cases Leap to 2,719, with 294 Recoveries
The Greater Accra Region is still leading the chart within the country, with 2,332 cases
Ghana has confirmed 550 new cases of the COVID-19 disease, increasing the country’s total case count from 2,169 to 2,719 as of May 4, 2020.
This was confirmed by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) via its official website for Covid-19 updates.
The recent GHS update also indicated that, 65 more persons have recovered from the disease, putting total recoveries at 294.

Regional breakdown
The Greater Accra Region is still leading the chart with 2,332 cases, followed by the Ashanti and Eastern Regions with 124 and 94 cases respectively.
