Damongo MP Provides Market facility to constituents

A befitting market has been one of the challenges for business owners in Damongo of the Savannah Region.

It has therefore become the people's priority, where at any given opportunity they appeal to duty bearers to consider establishing the market center for the area.

Luckily on their part, the member of Parliament for the Damongo constituency, Honourable Abu Jinapor commissioned a Community market for the people of the Canteen.

He was hopeful that, the market would bring considerable relief to the community particularly the womenfolk. He made the statement at the commission of the facility,

"I am very happy that, at long last, we have succeeded to resolve the long-standing problem of a community/everyday market for the people of Canteen".

After the commissioning, he visited Gbatalekura, a farming cottage in the Achubunyor Electoral Area in the Damongo constituency.

The Member of Parliament said connecting with the grassroots and stakeholders in the area is always humbling.

According to him, rural development is his utmost agenda and he is therefore committed to it.
