Ghana leader denies endorsing Nigeria's Peter Obi

In response to comments made on social media in the two West African countries, Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo has denied supporting Nigerian politician Peter Obi's presidential campaign.

The charges were described as "totally false and malicious" by President Akufo-Addo.

On Twitter, he declared, "I am not going to be the one to engage in the internal issues and politics of Nigeria, since Ghana and Nigeria boast of decades of cordial, robust, and brotherly relations.

With the support of the Labour Party, Peter Obi is running for president.

In February 2023, Nigeria will elect a new president.
