Greater Accra Taxi Drivers Increase Short Distance Trips To GH¢10
The Greater Accra Taxi Drivers Association under the Private Transport Operators has announced to the general public that, short distances trips within Accra have been increased to GH10.00.

The Greater Accra Taxi Drivers Association under the Private Transport Operators has announced to the general public that, short distances trips within Accra have been increased to GH10.00.
Despite the several increments in fares according to the Association, it has been charging the old fares.
"We were charging the old fares because we were afraid of losing passengers and burdening them with cost.
The fuel and spare parts prices keep increasing coupled with other taxes which affects our daily sales," the association in a statement asserted.
The statement signed by the leadership in the persons of Hayford Ayensu and Badu Anthsonn noted that the constraints for not increasing the short-distance fares are making us run at a loss.
"We are therefore pleading to the general public to come to terms with the new fares,' he noted.
