The headmaster of the school,Dacosta Okyere stressed the need for the government to provide them with a befitting classroom block to improve teaching and learning at the school.

The headteacher of Bodoma M/A JHS Dacosta Okyere in Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti Region has appealed to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for immediate intervention to assist in building a Junior High School (JHS) classroom block with the necessary facilities.
The headmaster of the school,Dacosta Okyere stressed the need for the government to provide them with a befitting classroom block to improve teaching and learning at the school.
Speaking in an SAP TV and monitored by Soireenews.com lamented that they erected the wood structures with bamboo and through communal labour, to contain the JHS pupils . 
The pupils have since remained in these structures for about three academic years, it has been noted that the current environment of the school is not conducive for effective academic work adding that, we are appealing to the President Nana Addo Addo MP
RT. Honourable Joe Wise and Bekwai Municipal MCE Hon. Kwaku Kyei Baffour to come to our aid., he said.
In an interview with the section of  students, they said  rAWe don't feel at ease in this classroom, there are issues with the blackboard, and occasionally learning becomes confusing because of the surroundings here because the school is close to the town.
The pupils claimed that while they excel academically and in sports, we lack the necessary facilities, therefore we are pleading with the government to help us.
The Akwamuhene of Bodoma , Nana Ankomah Peprah interaction with the media he said , Bodoma community really need the government's help because we don't have good roads, toilet facilities are in terrible shape, not to mention our school building, and the community pays the CHPS Compound residents each year despite Joe's promises to build a CHPS Compound for us.
The community is therefore appealing to the Government, Non-Governmental Organisations, philanthropists among others for assistance ,he sadly said.
