I don't believe any Ghanaian award programs, says Kelvyn Boy

Afrobeats musician Kelvynboy and his management group have declared that they do not believe in any kind of prize program in Ghana.

The "Down Flat" singer said that he did not trust the organizers in answer to a query from radio presenter Abeiku Sanatana about whether he would win Most Popular Song at the upcoming awards.

"I'm not sure... Sincerely, we don't believe them—even the Grammy Awards people have problems with it, he said (pauses).

Former Unsung Artiste category champion Kelvynboy said that all of the other contestants were very talented, so losing to any of them would be devastating.

"I'll be disappointed if I don't get it, but there are other songs on there that are just as well-known, and I deserve the award if I do," the contestant said. It's okay whichever way, I saw other very fine artists in the nomination when I looked at it," he said.
